Amy Alterisio is a New England based painter whose work explores color and texture to evoke a sense of emotion. While the work leans more realistic, there’s a visual intensity and tactile sensation formed in the way the color and brushwork interplay.

Alterisio is completing her final semester as a Bachelors of Fine Arts candidate at the University of New Hampshire. Her senior thesis is exploring the themes of childhood memories and sibling connection.
